So, I talked a lot in the first blog entry or two about the grand entrance into this place, but a picture is worth a thousand words...

Today, I secured my boys' future science fiction education: we bought the Star Wars series on BluRay! Yes, it was a splurge, but it was also an investment; an insurance policy against my boys growing up not knowing who Luke Skywalker really was! "I am your faah-thuh!" May the Force be with you.
All in all, today was a pretty mellow day. Aidan peed on Mommy again, Jacob got the hiccups, both boys had MAJOR poopy blowouts when we got to the hospital after lunch, and Daddy discovered that YouTube has some great kids' books - Hans Christian Anderson, Grimm fairy tales, Dr. Seuss, The Hungry Caterpillar, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, and other timeless classics. Generally, I prefer to read to the boys myself, but this was an entertaining alternative.
Grandma Lynne came to meet the boys today, too! She flew in from Fresno, via Portland, then Seattle.... Grandma got the scenic tour of the PNW! We had some dinner at the Original Roadhouse Grill, then went back to the hospital to hang out. Grandma was amazed at how tiny and gosh-darn CUTE they are!! She got to cuddle with Aidan first, then tackled Jacob when Aidan made a stinky mess in his diaper. :)

Now it's off to bed so we can get up early tomorrow morning! Tomorrow is 3 weeks!!

If more hospital entrance areas looked that comfortable & inviting people would be a lot less fearful & hesitant about doctors & hospitals in general. Just another plus for Oregon? ;-)
